Ralph Joins Campaign to see Hunter honoured as Hometown Hero

A freelance journalist, Roger Riddell recently asked Ralph to help in an oversight on Louisville Hometown Heroes banner programme that has missed Hunter S. Thompson out so far.

Luminaries from the town such as Diane Sawyer and Denny Crum have already been honoured as local people done good, by having huge banners of themselves adorning local landmark buildings. So far HST has been passed over, perhaps because of his unconventional and often outlandish conduct.

Reaching out to Ralph Steadman after a false start or two he finally was sent a response from Steadman, stating that Hunter was a "true Kentucky pioneer".

Hopefully a banner honouring Hunter is closer than ever.
