A poster the press campaign of Hunter S. Thompson's cult classic novel, illustrated by Ralph Steadman. First serialized in Rolling Stone Magazine in 1971 before being printed in novel form in 1972. It helped define Gonzo Journalism which Steadman and Thompson created in 1970 at the Kentucky Derby which they were covering for Scanlan's Magazine.
Very rare and in very good condition.
The poster is signed by Ralph Steadman in black ink.
